SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. MUST BE LOCATED IN THE DFW AREA

OVERVIEW

Plays a critical role in driving the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing detailed financial models, and preparing comprehensive reports that inform budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze financial statements and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with accounting and business administration teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Utilize pivot tables and macros to streamline data analysis and automate routine financial processes.
  • Support corporate finance activities including capital expenditure analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyze complex financial data and develop models that forecast business performance and support strategic planning.
  • Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support corporate finance initiatives.
  • Apply accounting principles and advanced analytical techniques, the role ensures accuracy and integrity in financial planning and reporting.
  • Contribute to optimizing financial outcomes and supporting sustainable growth within the manufacturing environment.
  • Serves on related committees and participates in meetings as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and use of Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and pivot tables.
  • Ability to utilize Macros to automate repetitive tasks, increasing productivity and reducing errors.
  • ERP system knowledge and data visualization to communicate insights effectively and integrate financial data with operational metrics, supporting comprehensive business analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Good oral and written business communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or related discipline.

  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
