Role OverviewSr. Financial Analyst at McKesson Corporation plays a key role in providing financial and business insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive strategic initiatives within the MAPS (McKesson Automated Prescription Solutions) portfolio. This role involves a blend of financial analysis, data interpretation, and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning and operational reviews.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop reporting solutions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and business analysis as requested, supporting strategic projects and initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the annual planning process and periodic forecasting updates.
- Communicate financial performance and insights clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
Minimum RequirementDegree and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Critical Skills- 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Salary: 82,700.00 - 110,300.00 - 137,900.00 USD Annual with 5% MIPP3This role is a
hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work
on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
