Role Overview
Sr. Financial Analyst at McKesson Corporation plays a key role in providing financial and business insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive strategic initiatives within the MAPS (McKesson Automated Prescription Solutions) portfolio. This role involves a blend of financial analysis, data interpretation, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning and operational reviews.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop reporting solutions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial and business analysis as requested, supporting strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in the annual planning process and periodic forecasting updates.
  • Communicate financial performance and insights clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.


Minimum Requirement

Degree and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Critical Skills
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.


Salary: 82,700.00 - 110,300.00 - 137,900.00 USD Annual with 5% MIP

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
