Sr Financial Analyst, Easton PA

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Sr. Marketing Financial Analyst supports new product development costing, analyzes actual versus planned product results, identifies cost management opportunities, prepares ROI financials for capital requests, and assists with ad hoc requests from Marketing and leadership.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guides the new product team in meeting plan hurdles and margin requirements.
  • Represents Finance on cross-functional teams supporting new product development, manufacturing, and sales initiatives.
  • Prepares ad hoc analyses, projections, reports, and presentations in response to business unit requests.
  • Tracks and analyzes key financial results for assigned business units, including trade spend, standard cost, labor cost, capital spend, product cost, and P&L performance.
  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to communicate financial results to business leaders effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Supports General Ledger close activities to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with GAAP.
  • Research and prepares variance analyses and explanations for Platform Marketing.
  • Identifies and calculates savings from cost management opportunities.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree or CPA is a plus).
  • Minimum 4 years of finance experience.
  • Must possess excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (SAP, MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
