Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support to the organization through reporting and analysis with a focus on Operations. A successful candidate will provide support to the division through:
  • Leading the development and delivery of timely, precise forecasts, budgets, reports, and analysis for assigned manufacturing plants and operations.
  • Driving measurable improvements in both operational efficiency and financial performance using industry best practices and development of KPIs and standardized reporting.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide actionable insight into Variable COGS and manufacturing operations to strengthen decision-making across the enterprise.
  • Interpret operational results to pinpoint performance gaps and collaborate with Operations to implement improvements.
  • Create reporting and analytical tools to better align Sales and Operations and support scalable growth.
  • Use business process knowledge and data querying capabilities to source, validate, and analyze data; present findings and recommendations to management, Sales, Ops, and cross functional partners.
  • Analyze incoming information requests, assess existing data sources, and determine the most efficient and effective way to deliver answers.
  • Prepare both regular and ad hoc research and analyses in alignment with the business unit's strategic objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to evolving business needs.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • High proficiency Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI a plus.
  • Experience with management systems and ERP.
  • 5-10 years of successful, progressive career development in a corporate environment. Industry experience a plus.
  • Communication skills to express ideas and concepts verbally, visually and in writing
  • Planning and organization to set targets / milestones and follow through on multiple commitments
  • Strong business acumen, with clear understanding of how decisions influence volume, growth, and profitability.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes (Extract, Transfer, Load) to pull data from storage and synthesize it into usable insights; SQL knowledge is not mandatory but understanding of joins, grouping, merging, etc., is expected
  • A demonstrated track record of driving and embracing change in a dynamic environment.
