Job Description

As a Sr Finance Manager at Solstice, you will lead the Commercial FP&A team, ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, forecasting, and planning processes, including monthly close, management reviews, and AOP. You will partner closely with business leaders to consolidate performance across multiple lines of business, identify key risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making and achievement of business commitments.

You will report directly to our Electronic & Specialty Materials (ESM) segment CFO, and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, New Jersey location on a hybrid work schedule.

As a people leader, you will develop and coach team members, strengthening their analytical, leadership, and communication skills while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Through strong cross-functional partnerships and a focus on forecast accuracy and execution, you will help drive business performance and build confidence in the Finance organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a mature Commercial FP&A team in consistently preparing Timely, Accurate, and Complete deliverables. Includes monthly close reporting, weekly Pulse Deliverables, Monthly Electronics Specialty Materials (ESM) segment MOR and SOL LT presentation decks, quarterly MD&A commentary and annual AOP processes.
  • Develop tactical and leadership qualities in direct reports, expanding their exposure and presentation opportunities while providing coaching on purpose and effectiveness. Lead with humbleness and coach the importance of telling the story to leadership that informs their decisions and highlights opportunity levers and risk mitigation tactics.
  • Collaborate across functions to understand the complete business objectives and continue to grow both confidence and trust in the Finance organization.
  • Consolidate multiple lines of business into the holistic whole of ESM and provide support to the CFO by escalating significant variances and risks that have potential to deviate from the commitment that has been communicated.
  • Build a strong Say/Do ratio, both in forecast accuracy and in action items taken away from meetings/calls


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in progressive finance roles
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis and forecasting skills.
  • While primary role is FP&A, must be comfortable with month-end close and booking reclassing and accrual journal entries.
  • Proven leadership skills. Comfortable leading teams and projects.
  • Must be a strong and confident communicator with peers, subordinates and, especially, leadership.

PAY RANGE

The annual base salary range for this position is $164,613 - 205,766. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
