Position Summary

The Sr. Finance Manager, Reporting & Analytics, Clinical Trials Division, is a key finance leadership role responsible for delivering actionable financial insights, scalable reporting, and analytics capabilities to support commercial and business performance.

This role partners closely with Commercial, Finance, Business, and Operational leaders to improve visibility into sales, revenue, pipeline, forecasting, customer performance, and financial trends. The Sr. Finance Manager will lead reporting innovation, enhance planning and forecasting processes, and translate complex data into clear recommendations that enable faster, more informed decision-making.

This leader will play a critical role in advancing business intelligence, automation, and analytics capabilities to support multi billion dollar revenue delivery, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen performance management across the division.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Commercial Performance Analytics
  • Support visibility to approximately $4.3B in annual sales and $2.8B in revenue through timely reporting, analysis, and performance insights.
  • Develop and deliver root-cause analysis to identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Enable Accelerator Drug Development sales synergy tracking and reporting across businesses.
  • Lead pipeline analytics and sales-to-revenue (S2R) forecasting to improve revenue predictability.
  • Provide revenue reporting by customer, segment, business unit, and other key dimensions.
  • Deliver actionable insights to support business reviews, leadership decision-making, and performance course correction.


Advanced Analytics, Data Transformation & Automation
  • Lead commercial and financial analytics across pipeline, sales, revenue, customer, and portfolio performance.
  • Deliver analytics projects related to S2R conversion, spend analytics, customer insights, master data management, and forecast improvement.
  • Drive data transformation, automation, and alignment of customer and financial data across systems.
  • Support enterprise systems and data platforms, including Oracle, Salesforce.com, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled analytics, automation, and decision support.
  • Lead a team that delivers and maintains 250+ customer budget trackers to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and forecast accuracy.


Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to provide real-time visibility into business and financial performance.
  • Lead internal and external reporting processes and calls, including:
    • Monthly and Quarterly Business Review presentations.
    • Client-specific spend reporting.
    • Budget tracking and forecasting.
    • Weekly and monthly performance scorecards and bowlers.
  • Standardize reporting processes to improve consistency, speed, accuracy, and usability.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear executive-level narratives.
  • Drive reporting innovation through automation, dashboard optimization, and self-service analytics.


Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
  • Lead AOP administration across sales, revenue, S2R forecasting, and related financial planning processes.
  • Support STRAP development and execution through financial modeling, analytics, and performance insights.
  • Own MBR/QBR processes and administration across Commercial teams.
  • Deliver budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Ensure alignment between financial plans, commercial execution, and operational performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy, planning discipline, and performance tracking.


Finance & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner with Commercial leaders, Business Unit Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to align reporting, analytics, and decision support.
  • Integrate insights across divisions and functions to support holistic business decision-making.
  • Provide agile, data-driven recommendations to help course-correct performance.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner by connecting financial outcomes to commercial and operational drivers.
  • Support transformation initiatives that improve financial visibility, process efficiency, and leadership decision-making.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of managers and analysts.
  • Set clear priorities, drive accountability, and build capabilities in reporting, analytics, forecasting, and finance business partnering.

Qualifications
