  • Manage demand investment budgets and track execution
  • Champion governance and internal controls for demand budgets

Job Description:

The Sr. Finance Director - One Demand provides enterprise-level financial leadership, insight and decision support across Sales and Marketing, leading the finance teams that partner with these functions to deliver profitable growth. This role acts as a key business partner to the Sales SVP and Marketing SVP, actively contributes to their leadership teams and portfolio growth teams, and ensures demand investments, trade spend and resource allocation are linked to clear value creation outcomes. Given the role's visibility and impact, the incumbent must communicate with clarity, influence senior stakeholders, and bring strong business acumen, curiosity and financial discipline to assess initiatives, shape decisions and drive execution.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA or CPA/CMA preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial experience, preferably in the Mars environment with a background in business planning and financial analysis experience
  • Minimum of 10 years leading and developing diverse teams
  • Preferred experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Experience working and collaborating with management and leadership teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and influencing skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to successfully influence associates within and outside of the S&F function. Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Highly proficient digital skills
  • Ability to travel when needed


What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Lead MAB management, PGT Finance and Sales Finance Business Partner teams which will directly support Sales & Marketing Directors
  • Acts as the key business partner to the Sales SVP and Marketing SVP, providing business perspective on financial and operational situations
  • Ownership and execution of the Operating Plan for the US Sales and Marketing and ensure corrective actions throughout the year to deliver commitments
  • Actively lead Step 1 & Step 2 of the SOP+ process and act as a "gatekeeper" of changes during PMR (Portfolio Management Review) and DMR (Demand Management Review), ensuring execution excellence and performance management of main strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Insights and Marketing COE to recommend and execute enterprise resource allocation to drive profitable growth in line with business strategy
  • Partner with FP&A and Insights to build 5-year integrated value creation plan through category and competitive landscape understanding, growth opportunities identification and long-term investment requirements
  • Deploy in-year demand investment budgets to Sales and Marketing teams and track execution / management, using enterprise management tools (e.g. TPM-Compass)
  • Champion for Governance & Control in the Demand organization and drive adherence to internal controls with respect to demand investment budgets
  • Recruit, develop, engage and maximize performance & potential of associates and role model high performing leadership behaviors
