Job Description

As a Field Service Manager here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to lead and oversee our Field Service team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers.

You will report directly to the General Manager and work from your assigned home site location in a hybrid work environment.

In this role, you will drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth by leading field service operations, managing customer relationships, and delivering strategic and financial performance across complex service environments.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead multi-site field service and facilities operations supporting large facilities, boiler plants, chiller plants, electrical distribution systems, and critical infrastructure environments.
  • Own contract execution, customer satisfaction, and operational performance for complex service portfolios.
  • Manage P&L performance including revenue, margin, operating income, forecasting, and productivity metrics.
  • Lead managers, supervisors, and field service teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
  • Maintain executive-level customer relationships and ensure achievement of contractual KPI and SLA commitments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
  • Partner with sales, operations, finance, engineering, and customer stakeholders to support business objectives and growth.
  • Monitor operational, financial, and customer performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor enterprise, contractual, and operational risks across a portfolio of service agreements and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard customer relationships, financial performance, and business continuity.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading field service, facilities management, building services, industrial services, or technical service operations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing managers and leading a diverse workforce of 50 or more employees.
  • Direct ownership of a P&L and operating budget of at least $12 million annually.
  • Direct responsibility for managing multi-tier service contracts valued at $12 million or more annually.
  • Experience managing contracts with defined KPI or SLA performance guarantees.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting large facilities, power plants, boiler plants, chiller plants, electrical distribution systems, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience managing executive-level customer relationships tied to large service contracts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience leading multi-site operations across a regional, national, or large geographic footprint.
  • Experience in Public-Private Partnership (P3) environments.
  • Experience in building services, facilities services, fire and life safety, security, automation, or related technical service industries.
  • Experience developing service growth strategies and expanding long-term customer partnerships.
  • Experience leading operations in critical uptime or downtime-sensitive environments.
  • Experience implementing KPI-driven performance management and continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across sales, operations, finance, engineering, and product organizations.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas), and anywhere in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Vermont, Maryland and Virginiais <$138,000 - $173,000>. For Washington, DC, and most major metropolitan areas in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State, the annual base salary range is <$158,000 - $199,000>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations."
