This position is fully remote, allowing you to enjoy the flexibility of working from home while collaborating with skilled team members and contributing to groundbreaking solutions.

Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to provide field engineering and project management support for emerging-technology proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives across hardware, software, and connected platforms. This includes prototyping, testing, and validating next-generation solutions, as well as leading the configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in both lab and live operating environments.

This role partners closely with internal and external engineering, product, and operations teams to coordinate pilots, manage timelines and dependencies, provide technical guidance, ensure infrastructure readiness, and resolve integration challenges to enable successful deployment and scalable adoption.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as Lowe's Innovation Labs' on-site liaison, partnering with store and supply chain associates and leaders to drive pilot execution, surface operational insights, and accelerate adoption.
  • Lead technical demonstrations and executive-level briefings for audiences that include senior leadership, clearly articulating emerging technology capabilities, business impact, risks, and scalability considerations.
  • Provide field engineering and project management support for technology POCs involving wearable devices, spatial computing platforms, and other emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate products in real-world store settings, train associates hands-on, and gather customer and operational insights that inform product discovery and continuous improvement (requires up to 30% travel).
  • Coordinate pilot timelines, stakeholder communication, risk tracking, and issue resolution to ensure POCs remain on schedule and aligned to objectives.
  • Assess and communicate store network and infrastructure requirements to ensure successful pilot execution and scalability.
  • Perform prototype device configuration, updates, maintenance, and technical servicing to ensure systems remain current and production ready.
  • Design and execute testing protocols to validate device performance, connectivity reliability, user experience, and hardware durability.
  • Troubleshoot AI-enabled smart glasses and spatial computing hardware and software, delivering structured technical feedback to internal and external engineering teams.
  • Develop lightweight engineering solutions and workflow adaptations to support in-store deployment of wearable and spatial technologies.
  • Manage secure handling and transport of devices between lab and store environments to support efficient and accurate testing cycles.
