Job Description

As a Sr External Comms Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing external communication strategies that enhance the company's brand and reputation. You will be responsible for creating compelling narratives, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent messaging across all external channels.

In this role, you will impact the company's public image and reputation by crafting and disseminating key messages to external audiences, including media, customers, partners, and stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and manage crisis communication efforts when necessary.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic external communication plans
  • Create and manage content for press releases, media pitches, articles, and other external communication materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives


Qualifications

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in external communications
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies
  • Experience in managing media relations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
