Full Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to work onsite at our Headquarters in Newark, CA supporting VP-level and other senior leaders, as necessary. The Executive Assistant role is a position that requires the ability to interact in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ability to learn, retain and understand the company's corporate structures are important to provide the level of support and knowledge necessary to complete daily tasks. This position will have a variety of responsibilities and requires the ability to work effectively within a team environment, take initiative, and be extremely self-motivated. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization will be critical. This individual needs to enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse group and can work effectively in a multi-task environment that requires strong organization and communication skills, with focus and attention to detail. You Will: • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to VP, aligning leader priorities within the function and translating them into coordinated team and cross-functional execution. • Own and manage complex executive calendars, exercising independent judgment within defined leadership priorities. • Independently coordinate leadership meetings, reviews, and engagements, ensuring appropriate preparation, materials, and follow-through while maintaining confidentiality. • Draft, edit, and refine executive level communications, presentations, and materials that require discretion, accuracy, and contextual understanding. • Act as a key point of contact between senior leaders, cross functional partners, and external stakeholders, managing sensitive communications with professionalism and tact. • Anticipate the needs of VP leaders, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities and resolving issues before escalation. • Manage domestic and international travel logistics and expenses, applying judgment around cost, timing, and executive preferences. • Handle confidential operational, financial, and personnel related information with the highest level of discretion and integrity. • Represent senior leadership professionally in internal and external interactions, demonstrating confidence and executive presence. • Partner with other Executive Assistants to ensure alignment, coverage, and consistent leadership support across functions. • Continuously assess and improve executive support processes, workflows, and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability. You Bring: • A strategic, anticipatory mindset with demonstrated experience supporting VP-level leaders in complex organizations. • Proven ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment while handling confidential business, financial, and organizational matters. • Strong executive presence and credibility when engaging with senior leaders and cross functional partners. • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, high expectation environments while remaining composed and solutions-oriented. • Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills, with agility to manage changing priorities and competing demands. • A proactive, problem-solving approach-identifying issues early and acting decisively. • Strong relationship building skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across departments and levels. • A BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience; experience supporting senior leaders in Finance, Operations, Product, or similar functions preferred. • 5-10+ years of Executive Assistant experience, including direct support of VP-level executives. • Experience in a public company or large, complex organization is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive level writing and presentation support. • Demonstrated precision, follow-through, and attention to detail. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Ability to maintain confidentiality, operate with urgency, and meet deadlines consistently. • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States and able to pass a comprehensive background check. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Base Pay Range (Annual) $110,400-$151,800 USD Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
