Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required.
• Epic Cogito Proficiency certification required. Additional Cogito build certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with Epic Cogito reporting tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, and SlicerDicer.
• Experience leading the design of complex Epic reporting solutions in a production environment.
• Strong background in performing upgrade impact analyses and executing reporting remediations.
• Experience mentoring junior Cogito developers and providing technical guidance.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction from Clarity and Caboodle.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex reporting solutions within the Epic Cogito environment.
• Lead upgrade impact analyses and necessary remediation work on high-visibility reports.
• Mentor staff-level Cogito Developers on best practices and build standards.
• Collaborate with data analysts, clinical informatics staff, and Epic IT for accurate reporting solutions.
• Engage senior clinical and operational stakeholders to gather and understand complex data requirements.
• Translate complex data requirements into effective Cogito reporting solutions.
