What we do:

The Enterprise Engineering Team at The Trade Desk are seeking a seeking a Sr. Enterprise Salesforce Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Ops, Product, and Legal to build scalable solutions that drive revenue efficiency and user experience. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on solving complex business problems using Apex, automation tools, and Salesforce best practices.

What you'll do:
  • Own technical design and end-to-end development within Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Architect and implement scalable, reusable Apex components, LWC components and design patterns.
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms.
  • Drive automation across opportunity lifecycle, sales processes, and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
  • Review and enforce best practices around security, governor limits, and test coverage.
  • Lead technical projects across sprint cycles, providing mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Maintain high code quality through peer reviews and CI/CD processes.

Who you are:
  • BS degree in Engineering related discipline and 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer with a focus on Sales Cloud.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
  • Strong understanding of data model design, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing.
  • Proven track record of shipping production-grade code at scale.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with RESTful APIs and internal services.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred (Bonus) Experience:
  • Salesforce CPQ: Configuring pricing rules, product bundles, and quote workflows.
  • CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management): Integrating legal review and contract processes with Salesforce workflows.
  • Agentforce or Salesforce-native AI tools: Experience building or extending AI assistant tools within Salesforce.

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$113,500-$208,100 USD
