Primary Purpose of PositionThe Engineering Business Analyst serves as the centralized coordination and integration point for Engineering planning, governance, and business execution at the site. This role ensures that Engineering priorities, commitments, and resources are translated into well-developed plans, complete and accurate governance packages, and disciplined execution across strategic initiatives, asset management, regulatory boards, and financial controls. The position is accountable for orchestrating complex, cross functional processes including the Site Business Plan, Asset Management Plan (AMP), Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB) engineering inputs, and engineering financial and contract activities by aligning leaders, engineers, planners, and external stakeholders around shared schedules, expectations, and deliverables. Acting as both facilitator and quality gate, the role ensures materials are accurate, integrated, and leadership ready, while commitments are tracked through completion. In addition, the role provides operational continuity and institutional coordination for Engineering through support of leadership forums, outage and governance activities, workforce onboarding, communications, and assigned collateral duties. The position plays a key role in reducing organizational friction, improving decision quality, and enabling Engineering leaders and engineers to focus on technical execution by managing the planning, interfaces, documentation, and follow through required for effective site performance.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities- Assist Site Vice President in development of the station business plan and facilitate integration into tracking database for the fleet.
- Oversee engineering department performance indicators; this includes department budget metrics.
- Coordinate department preparations for NSRB, Institute of Nuclear Power Operators (INPO), World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), and other key department level oversight Management Review Meetings (MRMs).
- Coordinate the site Asset Management Plan and key indicators associated with the department budget. This includes prep for the spring and fall Senior Vice President AMP calls, validating the AMP against the site Top 15/30 modification lists, facilitate department contracts, schedule and hold department accountable to the business planning overall timeline.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience OR
- Associate's degree with 7 years of related experience OR
- Current or Previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 5 years of related experience OR
- High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in a business-related field
