Job Summary:

This role involves working on current and next-generation mechanical designs of medical instruments. You will be part of a dedicated team, working in a dynamic environment. Open communication, empowerment, innovation, teamwork, and customer success are the foundations of the team.

Job Details:

  • Drive new technology implementation in next- generation platforms.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Conduct failure analysis efforts and develop mitigation plans for manufacturing related issues.
  • Actively engage in external technical community and show leadership through technical presentation.


Knowledge and Training:

  • Relevant experience in the mechanical design of computer/network equipment designed to operate in data centers.
  • Advanced knowledge of cross-functional design areas such as Interconnects, SI, PCB, EMI, safety, and thermal.
  • Actively participating and contributing to industry standard organizations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Ability to balance the needs of a fast-paced start-up environment with the needs for good documentation and quality control.
  • Knowledge and competency in application of FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR, and other regulatory requirements, especially in the area of quality systems and design control as applied to projects from design inception to manufacturing release.


Experience:
  • Expertise in mechanical design, manufacturing, and structural analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in innovation, such as contributions to patents or similar achievements.
  • Experience in providing technical advice and counsel to senior executives.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 4 years of related industry experience or Master's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, or PhD.
