Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in embedded architecture and leadership
• Proficient in Embedded Linux with C++11, focusing on Embedded C++, Multithreading, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
• Demonstrated expertise in complex distributed embedded systems, particularly in control system applications and hardware integration
• Experience with Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and device driver implementation
• Familiarity with UNIT testing using GMOCK/GTEST for C and C++ applications
• Hands-on development experience in Python
• Knowledge of version control systems, including Git and SVN
• Proficient in project management tools like Jira and Clearcase.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture development for embedded systems projects
• Develop and optimize embedded software in C/C++ within a Linux environment
• Design, implement, and validate device drivers and HAL for hardware components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
• Conduct testing and debugging of embedded systems, ensuring robust performance
• Interface with customers and manage communication with offshore development teams
• Facilitate Agile methodologies, leading development teams in a SAFe Agile framework.
