Senior Network Engineer / Sr. Manager, Infrastructure OperationsCompensation: $120,000-$150,000 + bonus potential
Direct Hire / RemoteThis role will serve as the lead engineer for global network infrastructure initiatives, driving operational excellence, modernization efforts, security, and performance across a multi-site enterprise environment.
What You'll Do:- Lead design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise network infrastructure across a global environment.
- Drive network architecture initiatives, technology standardization, and modernization strategies.
- Design and support secure connectivity solutions including SD-WAN, VPN, hybrid cloud networking, and site-to-site connectivity.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex network incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Manage and optimize firewalls, switching, routing, wireless infrastructure, and enterprise access control platforms.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to a small offshore network engineering team.
- Partner cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams on enterprise initiatives.
- Create and maintain network documentation, standards, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements.
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree and various certifications desired.
- 8+ years of progressive enterprise network engineering experience.
- Proven experience as a senior or lead engineer within a global enterprise environment.
- Deep hands-on expertise with:
- Cisco networking technologies.
- Cisco ISE (or comparable NAC platforms).
- Meraki infrastructure.
- Fortinet firewalls.
- Arista switching and wireless solutions.
Strong technical knowledge of:- BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS.
- TACACS, RADIUS.
- VPN technologies and SD-WAN.
- Enterprise wireless design and troubleshooting.
- Packet capture and traffic analysis tools.
- Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Preferred Experience:- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Terraform, Python, Ansible, or other automation tools.
- Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience leading distributed/offshore technical teams.
- Strong operational leadership with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution.
