This role is essential for designing and delivering enterprise-class business intelligence and technology solutions that support T-Mobile's Subscription Billing and Subscription Marketplace ecosystem. The Senior Domain Architect partners with architecture, development, product, finance, operations, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions for subscription billing, recurring revenue management, billing integrations, and digital marketplace capabilities.

The role supports solution strategy from early ideation through design, testing, and deployment, while helping establish architectural guardrails, technical documentation, and implementation standards. Success is measured by the ability to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable solutions that align with enterprise architecture principles, improve operational decision-making, and enhance business and customer outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement architectural guardrails to ensure compliance and support reliable delivery of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into optimized technology solutions supporting subscription billing, recurring revenue management, and digital marketplace capabilities.
  • Work closely with business partners during conceptualization and vision stages of new projects, helping define solution options that support business reasons prior to project funding and startup.
  • Create and present high-level solution designs, plans, and roadmaps to guide development and leadership decisions.
  • Support the product lifecycle from business discussions through test and deployment, including subscription product modeling, billing integrations, requirement refinement, and data design to meet business needs.
  • Mentor and coach team members on best practices to strengthen technical capabilities and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Own the evaluation and implementation of infrastructure, processes, and tools to evolve technology services, including subscription platforms, API integrations, cloud-native services, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Support solution implementation by coordinating with development, infrastructure, testing, and support teams.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Technology (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience with enterprise level database systems such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server or others, emphasis on Teradata. (Required)

  • Experience working in Agile product delivery environments with multi-functional partners such as Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, or cloud-native service patterns.
  • Exposure to subscription billing or commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI Development proficiencies or Claude Development tools.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, data architecture, Agile delivery, subscription billing, commerce platform, or API integration certification preferred, such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster (preferred)

Base Pay Range: $102,000 - $184,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
