Job Overview

This position will provide strategic warehouse leadership across facilities within the Coca-Cola Consolidated footprint.

The Senior Director, Warehouse Process will lead functions within their respective territory, including operations management in their unit, such as the efficient and accurate loading of trucks, effective inventory planning and control, and the leadership and development of the personnel in each of the warehouses. This role will manage the cost-effective distribution of inventory and assets; facility-related maintenance contracts, capital-related upgrades, and repairs within their assigned Market Units. Additionally, the Senior Director is accountable for internal audit, quality assurance standards, and all external regulatory requirements, including SOX, OSHA, and FDA compliance in all locations; collaborate with counterparts in distribution, sales, and product supply to ensure supply chain effectiveness, as well as internal and external customer service satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability for operational effectiveness by demonstrating organizational leadership, using independent discretion to create and achieve long- and short-term strategic and tactical plans for multiple automated locations within market units guided by broad policies, objectives, and standards
  • Adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal, external levels and use these techniques to decide the appropriate approach while interacting with others at different venues, and drive employee engagement through floor presence
  • Use independent judgment to build and promote the free flow of information and communication throughout the organization that will encourage change while maintaining operative effectiveness and success

  • Maintain accountability for operational effectiveness by ensuring that direct reports have the support needed to effectively manage their departments and direct reports; meeting or exceeding all expectations for market unit key business indicators such as labor and cost control, customer and business-focused KBI's; and overseeing the execution of all logistics functions including, safety and security, in-bound and out-bound management, labor management, talent development, facility, and equipment maintenance, and customer service
  • Evaluate and act upon the results of key performance indicators such as safety performance, cost per case, inventory shrink percentage, and cases per man-hour. Conduct continual in-depth evaluations of logistics processes to identify and implement productivity improvements and cost-saving programs to ensure the delivery of the financial operating plan
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders through the ownership and development of plans for promoting team collaboration. Build, motivate and lead cross-functional teams across the organization to achieve established corporate goals. Conduct regular cadence of meetings and intentional interaction and collaboration with business partners in Franchise Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Red Classic, Manufacturing, Safety, Risk, Human Resources, and Employee Relations
  • Direct relevant Capital Management activities, including retention of company asset valuation through the proactive administration and prioritization of repairs and upgrades; complete facility management including security, appearance, and operative functions; and oversee the planning and managing the capital spend for multiple locations
  • Ensure optimal Customer Service by supporting sales through daily observation of inventory levels to ensure the product is available when needed and leading regular coordination with supply chain analysts to reduce the likelihood of out of stocks while also minimizing inventory days on hand
  • Direct, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training
  • Implement continuous improvement methods, maintain customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
  • Driver's License required


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (4 years), preferred, in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
