Full Job Description
SENIOR DIRECTOR, TALENT PROGRAMS & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Build the leaders who will build what's next.

ProAmpac is looking for a Senior Director, Talent Programs & Leadership Development to shape how we identify, develop, engage, and grow talent across our organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent, this role will define and scale an enterprise-wide leadership development and talent programs strategy designed to build future-ready leaders at every level. You will lead the strategy behind our leadership development experiences, early-career programs, talent pipelines, learning ecosystem, mentorship, onboarding experience, and other programs that create meaningful opportunities for internal growth.

This is an opportunity for an experienced talent and leadership development executive who knows how to move from strategy to execution. Someone who has built programs, designed curricula, created governance, measured impact, influenced senior leaders, and scaled development experiences across a complex organization.

As ProAmpac continues to grow, including through acquisition, this leader will also play an important role in ensuring newly acquired talent is integrated into our development ecosystem and has access to the leadership programs, resources, and growth opportunities available across the broader organization.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

Enterprise Leadership Strategy
• Define and drive ProAmpac's enterprise Leadership Readiness Strategy, strengthening our pipeline of current and future leaders.
• Establish leadership capability standards aligned with our organizational values, business priorities, and future workforce needs.
• Design immersive and experiential leadership development strategies that build capability beyond the classroom.
• Create scalable approaches that provide enterprise consistency while allowing for regional and business-specific needs.

Leadership Programs & Curriculum
• Lead the strategy and execution of flagship leadership programs, including PATH / Sustainable Leadership Program, leadership academies, cohort-based development programs, and other enterprise leadership experiences.
• Oversee leadership curriculum design, program architecture, and governance to ensure development experiences remain relevant, practical, scalable, and measurable.
• Establish Train-the-Trainer standards and governance that enable quality program delivery across the organization.
• Create learning pathways that support leadership and career growth across multiple stages of the employee journey.

Talent Pipelines & Career Development
• Define and evolve ProAmpac's internship strategy to build early-career talent pipelines aligned with future workforce needs.
• Develop rotational program strategies that accelerate the development and visibility of high-potential talent.
• Create a structured mentorship framework that supports employee growth, engagement, knowledge sharing, and internal mobility.
• Provide strategic oversight of the onboarding experience, helping employees connect to the organization and their opportunities for growth from day one.

Learning Ecosystem & Program Governance
• Provide strategic oversight of the enterprise learning ecosystem, including platforms, tools, resources, and delivery models.
• Establish governance frameworks for leadership academies and talent programs to drive quality, consistency, adoption, and scalability.
• Develop a comprehensive vendor strategy, including vendor selection, performance management, innovation, and ROI.
• Build the systems, processes, and partnerships necessary to scale talent development across a growing organization.

Analytics, Insights & Impact
• Define meaningful leadership and talent program metrics that demonstrate effectiveness, participation, capability growth, business impact, and return on investment.
• Use data and insights to continuously improve programs and inform future talent strategies.
• Translate complex talent information into compelling executive-level presentations, recommendations, and business cases.
• Help senior leaders understand where leadership capability is strong, where gaps exist, and where investment can create the greatest organizational impact.

Executive & Business Partnership
• Partner closely with the Vice President of Talent, senior HR leaders, and business executives to align leadership and talent development priorities with enterprise strategy.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership capability, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce development.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships that embed leadership development and talent growth into how the business operates.
• Support organizational transformation, including the integration of talent and development programs as ProAmpac continues to grow through acquisition.

WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking for a strategic builder who can see the big picture and also create the infrastructure required to make it happen.

You should bring:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, talent management, organizational development, learning, talent programs, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise leadership development strategies and programs.
• Strong experience designing curricula, academies, cohort programs, leadership pathways, or other structured talent development experiences.
• Experience building and managing talent programs such as internships, rotational programs, mentorship programs, leadership development programs, or enterprise onboarding experiences.
• Experience leading leaders, departments, functions, or strategic initiatives with broad organizational impact.
• Strong program governance capabilities, including the ability to create standards while scaling programs across multiple businesses, locations, or regions.
• Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, and business outcomes to evaluate program effectiveness and guide investment decisions.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and translate talent priorities into business language.
• Experience leading through organizational change, transformation, or significant growth.
• Bachelor's degree or country-specific equivalent required. Master's degree or country-specific equivalent preferred.

Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or rapidly growing organizations is highly valued. We are especially interested in leaders who understand how to bring newly acquired employees into a broader talent ecosystem while preserving the strengths, knowledge, and capabilities they bring with them.

THE LEADER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You think enterprise-wide, but you know great programs succeed because of execution.

You understand that leadership development is more than training. It is about building capability, strengthening talent pipelines, creating opportunities for internal growth, and preparing an organization for what comes next.

You can walk into an executive conversation and discuss leadership readiness, succession, capability gaps, business priorities, program ROI, and workforce strategy. Then you can translate that conversation into programs, governance, curriculum, metrics, and experiences that employees and leaders can actually use.

You are comfortable building in an environment that is growing and evolving. You bring structure without unnecessary complexity, know when to standardize and when to adapt, and are energized by the opportunity to create programs that can scale.
