Onsite: Los Angeles, CA (3+ days/wk)

Our growing pharmaceutical client involved in cutting edge longevity based research is seeking a strategic, hands-on HR leader responsible for shaping organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, talent acquisition, and people operations. This role partners directly with senior leadership, providing clear judgment on complex people decisions while personally driving process design, problem-solving, and execution.

What You'll Lead
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on organizational structure, workforce needs, performance, and leadership.
  • Drive workforce planning, organizational design, capability assessments, and resource allocation.
  • Build and lead a disciplined talent acquisition function across all levels and specialties.
  • Establish consistent job architecture, leveling, competencies, and role clarity.
  • Design practical performance and talent-management processes that strengthen accountability and development.
  • Guide managers through performance issues, employee relations, investigations, and workplace challenges.
  • Develop leadership capability through coaching, facilitation, and targeted development tools.
  • Maintain HR policies, compliance, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Improve onboarding, communication, engagement, and overall employee experience.

What You Bring
  • ~12+ years of progressive HR experience across HRBP, OD, TA, talent management, operations, and employee relations.
  • Proven success advising senior executives and leading organizational design or workforce-planning initiatives.
  • Strong experience recruiting senior, specialized, and hard-to-fill talent.
  • Knowledge of compensation, performance management, employment practices, and compliance.
  • Experience in dynamic, evolving, or regulated environments; public-company or life-sciences experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate at VP-level judgment while staying hands-on and execution-focused.
  • Strength in coaching, conflict management, change leadership, and data-driven decision-making.
