Global Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the development and execution of fulfilment strategies throughout the product lifecycle, from procuring raw materials to delivering finished goods to customers. It involves material management, capacity planning, logistics, distribution and inventory management with goals of guaranteeing material supply and satisfactory service level, while optimizing value in a global hyper-growth company.
Position Overview: Insulet is seeking an energetic and strategic leader to lead its Global Distribution and Fulfilment organization. The role will set the global strategy and direction for logistics, distribution, and order fulfilment, ensuring these capabilities enable the business through integrated solutions that accelerate growth. This role is pivotal in scaling and optimizing Insulet's distribution network to support future growth and international market expansion.
This leader will bring innovative solutions to scale capacity, strengthen the customer experience, and improve cost and service performance by translating business requirements into an integrated global distribution and fulfilment strategy. The successful candidate will build a resilient, digitally enabled network that supports rapid growth, new product introductions, and international expansion while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational execution.
Responsibilities: - Lead Insulet's Global Distribution and Fulfilment function, overseeing logistics, distribution, transportation, and order fulfilment.
- Develop and execute the global distribution and fulfilment strategy to support future volume growth, international expansion, and new product introductions. Scale, optimize, and maintain a resilient distribution network while developing business continuity, capacity, and contingency strategies across company-owned sites, 3PLs, carriers, and critical logistics partners.
- Establish and deliver customer-focused service strategies and performance measures that ensure reliable, timely, and compliant product delivery across all markets and channels.
- Lead the global strategy, governance, performance management, and commercial relationships for 3PLs, distribution partners, transportation providers, and carriers.
- Drive operational performance, service, quality, safety, and accountability across company-owned distribution centers and third-party distribution providers worldwide.
- Champion the use of digital technologies, analytics, and automation to enhance end-to-end visibility, improve decision-making, and increase the efficiency and scalability of the global distribution network.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce operating costs across Insulet's supply chain network while improving service, quality, and safety performance.
- Develop and deploy trade compliance and international logistics metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and service improvement across the supply chain.
- Provide guidance to global business teams on compliance with international sanctions, commodity classification, duty and tariff mitigation or recovery opportunities, import and export licensing requirements, customs regulations, export controls, and supply chain security initiatives.
- Lead the financial planning process for global distribution, logistics, and transportation, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic plans, while effectively managing costs and delivering against key service objectives.
- Partner with the Corporate Sustainability team to develop and deliver sustainability initiatives across the distribution network, including product take-back and recycling programs.

Education and Experience: - 20+ years of supply chain operations experience with a global manufacturing organization, at least 7+ of which were in a management position. Bachelor's degree Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline a strong plus.
- Proven track record of developing end to end strategies to improve supply chain efficiencies and effectiveness as well as developing the necessary controls to manage a fast-growing demand
- Knowledge of leading operations and supply practices such as Lean and Six Sigma
Additional Information: Travel is estimated at 20% but will flex depending on business needs.
