Sr. Director, Network Management & Implementation - Digital Assets

Overall Purpose

The Sr. Director, Network Management & Implementation will lead network implementation, participant readiness, and operationalization for Early Warning's international payments and digital asset initiatives.

This role is responsible for translating product strategy into scalable implementation and operating models that enable financial institutions and network participants to successfully integrate, launch, and operate new payment capabilities. Working across Product Management, Engineering, Partnerships, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations, this leader establishes the implementation framework, operational readiness model, and network management practices that support successful participant onboarding, launch, governance, and steady-state operations.

Essential Functions
  • Own implementation strategy, readiness planning, certification requirements, and coordinated launch execution for international payments and digital asset-enabled capabilities.
  • Establish scalable implementation models, operational readiness criteria, certification processes, and operating playbooks that enable successful participant onboarding and network launch in partnership with the Partnerships & Strategy organization.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Partnerships, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure implementation requirements are incorporated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Own the authoritative participant-readiness view across the program, providing executive visibility into onboarding status, implementation milestones, launch criteria, operational readiness, dependencies, implementation risks, and required product or operating model changes.
  • Establish and manage participant governance processes, including implementation reviews, readiness forums, service reviews, escalation mechanisms, and operational feedback loops that support successful participant launches and ongoing network operations.
  • Define standardized implementation methodologies, operational acceptance criteria, service levels, and transition processes supporting successful participant and corridor launches.
  • Assess market-specific operational requirements and implementation considerations supporting expansion into new payment corridors and markets.
  • Capture implementation insights and participant operational feedback to improve product capabilities, implementation standards, operating procedures, and future network readiness.
  • Lead post-launch stabilization activities and transition new capabilities into scalable, steady-state operations.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team responsible for implementation strategy, network readiness, and implementation excellence.
  • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Operations, or a related field.
  • Typically 15+ years of progressive experience in payments, product implementation, financial institution implementation, operations, client delivery, network management, or program leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex implementations involving banks, financial institutions, payment networks, fintechs, or regulated technology providers.
  • Proven experience developing implementation strategies, operating models, certification frameworks, and repeatable onboarding processes.
  • Demonstrated people leadership with experience building and leading high-performing implementation or operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of how Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and commercial functions intersect throughout product implementation and launch.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive execution across matrixed organizations.
  • Background and drug screen required.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting international payments, cross-border payment networks, remittances, digital asset-enabled payment capabilities, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, or blockchain-enabled settlement.
  • Experience implementing payment products or network capabilities with large financial institutions.
  • Experience establishing participant certification, network operating models, service levels, or operational readiness frameworks.
  • Experience leading global implementations involving market-specific regulatory, operational, or technical requirements.


Physical Requirements

Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment. Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC in USD per year is: $188,000 - $235,000.
New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $226,000 - $282,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
