Sr. Director, Biologics Analytical ServicesPosition SummaryWe have an opportunity for a Sr. Director, Biologics Analytical Services to join our team. This role is responsible for driving growth across the Bio Analytics platform within the Biologics segment. You will lead strategic and executional initiatives to deliver bookings, revenue growth, and margin expansion through strong pipeline management and customer engagement. The position requires building trusted relationships internally and externally, ensuring commercial commitments are structured and executed to support compliance and profitable growth across the biologics lifecycle.
Location: Field Based
The Role- Lead the sales organization with a focus on delivering growth and profitability.
- Own key customer relationships and lead complex commercial pursuits.
- Partner closely with Operations, Technical, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Program Leadership to ensure commercial commitments are structured and executed effectively.
- Support delivery excellence, compliance, and profitable growth across the biologics lifecycle from early development through commercial supply.
The Candidate:- Bachelor’s degree required in a scientific or technical discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience within biologics CDMOs, biopharma services, or related life sciences sectors.
- Demonstrated success driving profitable growth for Bio Analytical Lab Services.
- Proven experience closing large, complex, multi-year commercial agreements with global biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
- Strong understanding of biologics development and manufacturing across early development through commercial supply.
- Experience operating in a global, matrixed environment and partnering effectively with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Technical teams.
- Track record of executive-level customer engagement, strategic negotiation, and commercial judgment.
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
Preferred Skills & Background- Advanced degree such as Master of Science or Master of Business Administration preferred.
Pay:
The annual pay range for this position in New Jersey is $200,000-250,000
The annual pay range for this position in California is $200,000-250,000
