The Sr. Director of Franchise Management is responsible for providing national-level support to the AI Connect Network Implementation organization and aligning corporate strategy with field execution. This position leads a group of technical leaders in their various specialties who support specific markets for network placement and passage across national real estate, which requires coordination with municipalities and government entities. The role will lead contract and lease negotiations with property owners, and provide a right-of-way for network passage.
What you'll be doing:
Develop and drive the national real estate directional strategy in partnership, including network planning to develop the best cost for the short & long term agreements.
Provide rent/lease guidance and execute on current national obligations within our network build plan while driving efforts to best monetize our real estate and spectrum assets.
Responsible for subject matter expertise in trends in the marketplace that lead to short and long term strategy decision making
Responsible for negotiations within unique markets and enterprise industries, leveraging field teams to focus on strategic network real estate agreements.
Partner with the field teams to design new solutions
Evaluate and plan for solutions to drive down rent and lease expense
What you'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s degree preferred
10+ years of experience in the fiber/telecommunications industry.
7+ years of relevant management experience including managing people leaders.
Previous Network/System Performance leadership experience required.
Extensive experience driving engineering builds and managing multiple vendors across multiple disciplines (i.e. Construction, Equipment, etc.).
Experience in Network/System Engineering, Site Construction and Engineering Design.
Understanding network performance and impact on the customer experience.
Understanding of Network growth forecasting.
Strong strategic and tactical planning capabilities.
Knowledge of Real Estate Development/Negotiations, Municipal Approval Processes, and Construction.
Strong knowledge of capital and expense budgeting and implementation processes.
Location: Flexible to any network hub
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $165,000.00 - $316,000.00.
