Full Job Description
Sr. Digital Engineer
Develop back-end capabilities using Java Spring Framework, and other open source Technologies; Integrate order management and ecommerce platforms with highly scalable micro service solutions; Build integrations and feeds to 3rd party providers and internal consuming systems; Work in an on-shore-offshore delivery model to deliver code continuously to meet an aggressive timeline.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent + 5 years experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or related occupation.
Experience must include: designing, developing and maintaining large-scale distributed web and commerce applications; Java, Spring Boot microservices, and RESTful APIs; IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite and IBM Sterling Order Management System; Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes; DB2; data integration processes; application and database performance analysis, profiling and tuning; caching strategies and connection pooling; log aggregation and observability tools including Scalyr and New Relic; root cause analysis; build and deployment automation including Bamboo and Git; and Python and Bash. Experience may be gained concurrently.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $186.2k -$190k
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
