Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree, or 6+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in electro-mechanical design using Creo 10.0 and PTC Windchill 13.0.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and government representatives.
• Willingness to travel to domestic suppliers and vendors.
• Previous security clearance preferred; ability to obtain clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for 2D and 3D CAD drawings of mechanical systems.
• Develop tooling and fixture solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Create designs for mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic control systems.
• Revise designs based on project feedback and updates.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate design accuracy.
• Recommend and implement improvements for components and systems.
• Integrate subsystems into military vehicles and present designs to stakeholders.
