Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in precast concrete, reinforced concrete, and steel design.
• Professional Engineer registration required, with ability to register in multiple states.
• Proficiency in structural software (AutoCAD, MathCAD, Concise, RISA-3D) and finite element analysis experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE7, ACI318, PCI, AISC, AWS) required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
• Team player with adaptability to changing environments and competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and project management of structural designs, including calculations.
• Perform analysis and design of precast structures, ensuring code compliance.
• Proactively identify issues and develop solutions, communicating with customers directly.
• Oversee the collaboration among team members including project managers and engineers.
• Engage with sales for design support and issue resolution, occasionally liaising with external parties.
• Assist sales and estimating with technical engineering support.
• Support and ensure adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
