Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; preference for a Master's in Structural Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, especially in precast and reinforced concrete design.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with capability for multi-state registration.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MathCAD, RISA-3D, or similar precast software with finite element analysis experience being a bonus.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE7, ACI318, PCI, AISC, and AWS building codes.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel to Salt Lake City, UT and Caldwell, ID occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and project management of structural designs, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Conduct analysis and design of precast structures and their components to meet building codes.
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve potential structural problems, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Manage collaboration among project team members, including engineers and contractors.
• Work with sales to support design, installation, and resolution of engineering issues.
• Assist sales and estimating teams through engineering expertise and support production operations.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental compliance programs.
