Sr. Cryptography Lead
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the single point of accountability for all Phase 1 deliverables and the overall engagement outcome
• Act as primary point of contact for all client authorized personnel as designated in the Task Order
• Manage the global delivery model across three regions: North America (NY, Alpharetta), EMEA (London, Glasgow), and APAC - coordinating across time zones
• Chair and facilitate weekly status meetings and monthly executive updates per Task Order requirements
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget against the fixed-fee contract structure
• Escalate and resolve issues with client senior stakeholders as required
• Ensure all deliverables meet Task Order acceptance criteria before submission for sign-off
• Drive quality assurance across all deliverables - ensuring consistent global coverage
• Manage Orion subcontractors and team members to delivery commitments
• Lead final executive presentation to senior client leadership
• Oversee knowledge transfer and formal engagement closure
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity consulting or professional services
• Demonstrated experience as engagement lead or program director on cybersecurity engagements at Tier 1 financial institutions
• Track record of managing global, multi-region consulting engagements across NA, EMEA, and APAC time zones
• Strong understanding of post-quantum cryptography concepts and the NIST FIPS 203/204/205 standards landscape
• Experience working with senior stakeholders (Director to MD level) at global investment banks or financial services firms
• Familiarity with network security platforms: Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, Netskope, or Akamai
• Understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks: FFIEC, DORA, PCI DSS, and CNSA 2.0
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - capable of presenting to Board and C-suite audiences
• Experience managing fixed-fee delivery engagements with formal acceptance criteria
• Based in or willing to travel regularly to New York, NY
NICE TO HAVE
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior cybersecurity certification
• Prior experience at a Big-4 firm, IBM, Accenture, or specialist cybersecurity consultancy
• Experience with PQC assessment or migration engagements
• Prior Tier 1 Bank or equivalent bulge-bracket investment bank engagement experience
