  • Review and decide transactions within delegated credit authority
  • Prepare and present credit approval summaries to management
  • Conduct fraud checks and due diligence when underwriting new requests

NewLaneFinance is seekingan experiencedSr. Credit Analysttoreview, underwrite, and decisioncommercial equipment finance requests. The qualified candidate is responsibleforindependentlyassessingthe credit worthiness of commercial equipment financerequestsaccording to NewLane27s Creditpolicies andprocedures.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing and evaluating credit risk for commercial businesses,with ticket sizesrangingup to$500,000.

  • Responsible for interpretingcommercial(i.e.,D&B,Paynet, etc.)andconsumerreports,and relatedinformationto render a sound credit decision.

  • Dutiesmayinclude financial spread and analysis ofbusiness financial statements and tax returnsto determine the applicant27s overallfinancialconditionand their capacity to repay.

  • Ensure transactions are underwritten according toNewLane27sCredit policy and procedure standards.

  • Review and decision transactions which are within delegated individual credit authority.

  • When needed,prepare andpresent creditapproval summariesto members of Credit and Senior Management.

  • Qualifyandapproveequipment dealers andcollateral to be financed.

  • Must understand, abide and upholdNewLane27saudit procedures and internal controls related to essential duties and responsibilities.

  • Perform fraud checks and due diligence whileunderwriting and assessing new equipment finance requests.

  • Daily responsibilities will require face to face interaction with Sales, Credit and Senior Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor27s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting orrelated business fieldsrequired.

  • 3+ years of related experiencerequired,preferably within thesmall business financing orleasing industry.

  • A strong understanding ofbusiness tax returns,financialstatements, and business concepts.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and computer literacy skills required.

  • Good working knowledge of otherfunctionaldepartments(i.e.,Sales, Funding,Servicing,Collections, etc.)and theirinteractions withthe Creditdepartment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to leverage relationship building skills.

  • Customer service focus and a professional approach to servicing B2B relationships

Salary Range:

$64,491.00 - $105,949.50

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate27s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
