Full Job Description
The Senior Consultative Pharmacist consults with patients, pharmacies and providers to provide patient care in the form of optimal medication therapy. The Senior Consultative Pharmacist work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Consultative Pharmacist advises safe, accurate and timely usage of medications. Designs, implements, evaluates and makes adjustments to medication care plans. Monitors medication therapy and makes adjustments as needed. Works as the medication expert in focused proactive heath campaigns that target improving health outcomes for patients with specific conditions. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
• Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
• Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
• Proficient with computers
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
PharmD
• 3 plus years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
