A Day in the LifeYour days will be dynamic-balancing technical planning with field realities. You9ll start by finalizing your Risk Register and Project Plan, check in with your design and construction teams, and follow up on permits. In the afternoon, you might visit a restoration site to coordinate with subcontractors and monitor progress, then report on budget performance and percent complete.
You9ll use RES9s PM Best Practices (Opportunity Charters, Risk Registers, MS Project schedules) to manage scope, risk, and timelines. Whether you9re speaking with regulators, adjusting plans due to unexpected site conditions, or presenting updates to a client-you9ll lead with clarity, purpose, and professionalism.
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:- A Bachelor9s degree in applied sciences, engineering, or construction (or equivalent experience)
- At least 8 years of experience in environmental, restoration, or construction-related fields
- 5+ years of direct project management experience
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools and documentation practices
- Strong background in regulatory processes and permit management
- Experience managing budgets, subcontractors, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Confidence leading projects with minimal oversight and high complexity
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage risk, scope, and client expectations
- Demonstrated success using PM Best Practices (Charters, Risk Registers, BMPs)
- Ability to mentor junior PMs or lead project teams across departments
- Familiarity with financial reporting, forecasting, and project margin tracking
What Will Make You Stand Out- PMP certification, PE/PG license, or an advanced degree
- Experience leading multi-phase mitigation, conservation, or restoration projects
