GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst with deep experience in annuity products and financial services systems to join our team. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing annuity product setups within our administrative platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business requirements.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and brings a strong foundation in financial services, particularly annuities.

**Position sits in Des Moines and will work an onsite schedule**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Configure and maintain annuity products within policy administration
• Translate business requirements into system configurations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product, Operations, IT, and Compliance teams
• Perform impact analysis, system testing, and validation of configuration changes
• Ensure configurations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Support product launches, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and provide timely resolution
• Document configurations, processes, and changes for audit and knowledge sharing
• Participate in quality assurance activities, including test case creation and execution
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and system efficiencies
• Performs other related work as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on annuity products
• Hands-on experience with policy administration or product configuration systems
• Strong understanding of annuity product structures (fixed and indexed annuities)
• Experience translating business requirements into technical configurations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience with leading annuity platforms
