Full Job Description
About the role:

Samsara is seeking a Production Designer to power the execution engine behind our Growth Marketing campaigns. This role sits within the Brand Design team and focuses on producing high-quality, on-brand creative assets at volume-spanning ABM campaigns, paid social, and digital display-that fuel pipeline and drive measurable business results. This role will translate well-defined creative direction into polished, platform-ready assets with speed, precision, and consistency. You'll be the operational backbone of our paid media creative, building and maintaining scalable templates, producing animated and static ad variants, and managing a high-volume queue across simultaneous campaigns. The ideal candidate thrives under production pressure, takes pride in pixel-perfect execution, and understands how creative decisions directly affect performance outcomes.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

You should apply if:
  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact-helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.
In this role, you will:
  • Own the end-to-end production of paid social and digital display assets across Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display, YouTube, and programmatic channels-resizing, adapting, and optimizing creative for each platform's technical specs.
  • Build and maintain scalable, reusable templates in Figma and Adobe tools that accelerate production velocity across the Growth Marketing team.
  • Manage a high-volume production queue across multiple concurrent campaigns, communicating timelines proactively and escalating blockers early.
  • Execute A/B creative variants to support performance experiments, ensuring each version is visually distinct enough to generate actionable signal.
  • Collaborate closely with campaign managers and performance marketers to translate briefs into launch-ready assets, asking the right questions when briefs need more definition.
  • Modify motion graphics, animated ads, and short-form video edits for digital campaigns, bringing energy and precision to assets that stop the scroll and drive clicks.
  • Support photography selection for advertising campaigns, curating images from Samsara's asset library and stock sources that align with campaign objectives, brand aesthetics, and audience context.
  • Perform photo retouching and compositing to prepare advertising imagery for final use-including color correction, background cleanup, and light adjustments-ensuring every visual feels polished and on-brand at scale.
  • Maintain brand consistency at scale, accurately applying Samsara's visual identity across a high volume of assets and catching inconsistencies before they ship.
  • Champion operational excellence by continuously improving file naming conventions, folder structures, and cross-functional handoff workflows.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:
  • 7+ years of experience in production design with a portfolio demonstrating high-volume digital ad creative, including paid social, display, and motion assets.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce large quantities of assets with speed and accuracy, without sacrificing quality.
  • Solid understanding of ad specs, technical requirements, and best practices across Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display, and YouTube.
  • Strong eye for typography, layout, color, and brand consistency across a range of formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate proactively on deadlines and dependencies.

An ideal candidate also has:
  • Experience producing short-form video content for social channels (Reels, TikTok-style formats, YouTube pre-roll).
  • Experience creating motion graphics and animated assets for digital advertising.
  • Familiarity with dynamic creative optimization (DCO) and templatized, high-throughput ad production workflows.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology marketing environment.
