About the Role:Veeam is seeking a high-performing
Sr. Client Executive to drive growth across strategic Enterprise accounts, with a primary focus on the
Financial Services Industry, including Canadian banking institutions, insurance organizations, wealth management firms, and capital markets clients.
This is a senior, quota-carrying role requiring strong executive presence, enterprise sales discipline, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic account plans, expanding existing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and positioning Veeam's broader portfolio across data resilience, cyber recovery, cloud, SaaS, AI governance, and data security.
Success in this role requires consultative selling, strong knowledge of enterprise IT and security priorities, experience navigating complex procurement environments, and the ability to work effectively with channel partners, alliances, and internal cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do:Strategic Account OwnershipOwn and execute account strategies across assigned Enterprise FSI accounts, with a focus on long-term growth, customer retention, expansion, and new business development.
Executive EngagementBuild trusted relationships with senior business, technology, security, infrastructure, risk, and procurement stakeholders, including CIO, CTO, CISO, VP Infrastructure, Cyber Resilience, Data Governance, and Enterprise Architecture leaders.
Financial Services FocusUnderstand the priorities of regulated financial institutions, including operational resilience, cyber recovery, compliance, data governance, cloud transformation, SaaS protection, AI risk, and third-party risk management.
Pipeline DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong pipeline coverage aligned to quota, identifying opportunities across Veeam Data Platform, Veeam Data Cloud, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID protection, cloud workloads, Kubernetes, cyber resilience, and data/AI security.
Complex Deal ExecutionLead full enterprise sales cycles from discovery through close, including business case development, technical alignment, commercial strategy, procurement navigation, legal negotiation, and executive sponsorship.
Partner and Alliance CollaborationWork closely with strategic channel partners, GSIs, cloud alliances, distributors, and internal teams to develop joint account plans, co-sell motions, and customer-specific value propositions.
Forecasting and CRM DisciplineMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in Salesforce. Provide clear visibility into deal progression, risks, next steps, and executive alignment.
Customer Expansion and RetentionIdentify opportunities to expand Veeam's footprint within existing customers by aligning Veeam's portfolio to evolving customer priorities around data resilience, ransomware recovery, regulatory compliance, and safe AI adoption.
What You'll Bring:Required Experience- 7+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, preferably in software, cloud, cybersecurity, data protection, SaaS, infrastructure, or data management
- Proven success in a quota-carrying enterprise sales role
- Experience selling into Financial Services, banking, insurance, wealth management, or other regulated industries
- Strong understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles, including multi-year agreements, procurement processes, legal review, and executive-level negotiation
- Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience building strategic account plans and managing large, complex customer relationships
- Strong partner and channel collaboration experience
- Excellent forecasting, pipeline management, and Salesforce discipline
- Strong communication, presentation, and business-writing skills
Preferred Experience:- Direct experience working with Canadian banking institutions or major Canadian financial services organizations
- Familiarity with regulatory and operational resilience priorities in financial services
- Understanding of cyber resilience, ransomware recovery, backup and recovery, data protection, SaaS backup, cloud infrastructure, and AI/data governance
- Experience selling through Microsoft Azure Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, or enterprise licensing programs
- Existing relationships within the Canadian FSI technology, security, infrastructure, or procurement community
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Compensation TransparencyVeeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, and skills. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
