Job DescriptionAs a Sr Process Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in process engineering will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects and achieving operational excellence.
In this role, you will impact the success of our manufacturing operations by implementing innovative process solutions, optimizing production processes, and driving cost reduction initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and operational excellence
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Lead and support process validation activities
- Participate in site HSE and process safety management programs, including management of change, process hazard analysis, root cause analysis/incident investigations, and development of standard operating procedures
- Provide accurate, timely forecasts to plant finance to help meet financial commitments
- Interpret the health of the production process using PI and other data collection processes
- Bridge multiple layers of organization between management and front-line workers to deliver plant safety and production objectives
- Mentor and train operations staff on unit design and intended/optimal operation. Assist operations department in troubleshooting plant operations issues
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
WE VALUE- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a regulated environment
- Six Sigma certification or Lean Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques
- Strong project management skills
