Role SummaryAs a Sr. Channel Planner, you will develop and manage effective inventory levels for Service Parts and Accessories at our Rivian Service Centers to accommodate forecasted demand. The Sr. Channel Planner will enhance Service Center launches, go-to-market strategies, as well as develop robust and effective analytical models to track node performance from order to invoice. This role will require extraordinary analytical skills, experience in inventory management, and consistent strategic focus to challenge current industry practices of distribution, allocation, inventory management, service levels, and supply chain performance. The Sr. Channel Planner will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Channel Planning.
Responsibilities- Drive the Channel Planning and Analytics strategic plan which will support better service levels with less inventory and optimized safety stocks
- Own master data and inventory parameters for Service Center materials to support stocking to meet the demand forecast, provide excellent fill rates, reduce down time, and deliver cost-efficient supply chain models
- Deliver development, launch, and continuous improvement of part inventory stocking models and strategies, part order replenishment generation logic, and distribution planning to meet our global SLAs
- Evaluate and analyze system outputs to ensure correct materials are being ordered, replenished, and available to support global service requirements. Focus on automation and controls to quickly identify errors to eliminate supply chain noise by modifying, removing, or adding orders to meet forecasted/unforecasted demand
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in Automotive, Tier 1, OEM, or technical field with emphasis in demand supply chain materials management, distribution, or logistics preferred
- BS/BA in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, Masters preferred
- Proficient in SAP, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python experience (a plus)
- Predictive modeling experience to support a scaling Supply Chain (Time Series or Regression)
- Ability to stand or sit for 8-10 hours per day
- Required to communicate using telephone and/or e-mail
- Ability to view, reach, and interpret documents
Pay DisclosureThe salary range for this role is $79,700 to $105,570 based
Michigan applicants.
The salary range for this role is $87,300 to $115,640 based
California applicants.
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus.
