Senior Business Operations AnalystPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Business Operations Analyst to drive operational excellence across our supply chain, procurement, and cost management functions. This role will own end-to-end supply chain operations and play a critical role in improving cost visibility, optimizing vendor performance, and building scalable operational processes.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, hands-on, and capable of translating data into actionable insights that directly impact business performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain & Procurement- Own and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, vendor management, and inventory planning
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
- Identify and execute opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
Financial & Operational Analysis- Conduct spend analysis and cost modeling across procurement and operational activities
- Track and ensure accurate capture of pass-through costs and operational expenses
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and support financial planning efforts
Data & Reporting- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track operational performance
- Deliver insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
Process Improvement & Systems- Identify inefficiencies in operational workflows and implement scalable solutions
- Support development of systems and infrastructure to enable business growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with Finance, Laboratory Operations, and other internal teams to align on operational and cost objectives
- Serve as a key point of contact for supply chain and operational initiatives
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, supply chain, or related roles
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience with procurement, vendor management, and cost analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools)
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred- Experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, or the healthcare industry
- Experience building processes in a fast-paced or early-stage environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools
- MBA or advanced degree
