Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

As part of Hamilton Lane's Global Client Solutions Team, the Product Team is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our investment programs across our investment platforms, including managing products and assisting with investor relations across the globe. As a Senior Associate supporting the Product Strategy & Operations function, you will report to the Principal, who supports the Head of Product and platform teams in executing cross-platform strategy and operations. In this role, you will manage a shared pool of analysts, build subject-matter-expert (SME) relationships across platforms, drive consistency in content and analyst training, and serve as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across the firm on behalf of the Product Team

The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, be detail-oriented and operate in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the shared analyst pool, both to support day-to-day platform needs and as the primary team executing on cross-platform initiatives - ensuring analysts are trained, coordinated, and positioned to implement process changes.
  • Drive consistency in marketing content, templates, and standard responses across product platforms.
  • Manage cross-platform deliverables for content, data aggregation, and team reporting.
  • Own recurring working relationships with platform subject-matter experts directly by hosting recurring meetings, managing resource allocation, and facilitating coordination.
  • Contribute to and help operationalize cross-platform initiatives, turning best practices across platforms into repeatable processes.
  • Partner with platform peers and Client Solutions leadership to help shape Product's strategy, contribute to the ongoing development of Product's underlying infrastructure, and communicate updates on key initiatives to the broader Client Solutions team.
  • Supervise vendor relationships for technologies owned by product, supporting ongoing monitoring, relationship management, and service suite.
  • Meet regularly with the Head of Product and the Principal, Product Strategy & Operations, to share updates on owned projects/tasks and contribute to project roadmaps and ad hoc tasks.
  • Support cross-platform decision-making processes that balance inclusive, cross-functional input with the speed needed to execute.

Qualifications:

Must-haves:
  • College degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.). An advanced degree, MBA, and/or CFA is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in financial services in either an investor relations or product management role.
  • Direct people management/supervisory experience, including delegating work, providing performance feedback, and developing junior staff.
  • Experience working directly with clients and client teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team, including coaching junior staff and managing performance across varying skill levels.
  • Comfortable building credibility and working relationships across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and organized, detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing up across multiple senior stakeholders, including platform leads and firm leadership.
  • Ability to manage a dynamic, cross-platform workload and prioritize across competing demands, including balancing team management responsibilities with individual contributor work.

Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal travel expected. From 0-10% domestic/international
