  • Studies airline business processes and recommends system rules
  • Identifies opportunities to implement automation and exception based management
  • Monitors and tracks performance of the stores processes and impact to American's operations
  • May use Misspelled WordAlteryx, Tableau, Access, Excel, or other analytic tools to simulate and analyze process improvement and optimization opportunities
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements and fine tuning of existing processes
  • Works within or lead cross functional teams
  • Presents findings and makes recommendations
  • Works with and provides direction to industry consultants, Operations Research Analysts and IT professional
  • Performs time sensitive analysis for senior leadership of stores and or supply chainText

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years job related experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations Research
  • Experience with cost analysis and root cause methods
  • Experience using data warehouse extraction tools such as; Alteryx, Tableau, and/or SQLText

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • 'A potential team leader with strong communication skills
  • Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks with exhibited follow through and initiative
  • Understanding and use of technical tools for analysis, problem solving, forecasting and quality improvement
  • Must be able to logically structure analyses of complex issues and develops solutions to business problems and challenges
  • High ethical standards
