Total Rewards: Benefits/Incentive InformationJOB DESCRIPTIONGENERAL FUNCTION The Senior Analyst, Pricing supports the Strategic Pricing organization by leading analytical initiatives, delivering actionable insights, and driving pricing strategy execution. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales and leadership to influence pricing decisions, improve profitability, and support data-driven business initiatives at EssilorLuxottica.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead advanced analytics to generate insights and support data-driven pricing decisions.
- Partner with Sales to structure pricing agreements, including discount strategies and growth targets.
- Analyze sales, pricing, and profitability performance, and present insights to management.
- Identify opportunities to optimize pricing strategies and improve revenue and margin performance.
- Develop and track key performance metrics to evaluate pricing effectiveness.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses using methodologies such as price variance, win/loss, and customer profitability.
- Identify root causes of pricing issues, formulate hypotheses, and validate findings through data analysis.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives related to pricing strategy and process improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or other Quantitative field
- 2-5 years of successful experience in strategic pricing or similar analytical roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions
- Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, building effective partnerships across teams
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills are required to create strong cross-functional relationships
- Excellence in attention to detail and accuracy, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Exceptionally strong analytical and math skills are required, along with experience manipulating large data sets across disparate systems
- Clear, concise communication style. Ability to drive a cross-functional project. Ability to develop strong relationships with key partners
- Fluent in English and French
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA/Master's degree
- Experience in database query
- Experience with analytical software packages such as SAS/Qlik/Python
