Pricing Advisor I

This role has been designated as 'Remote/Teleworker', which means you will primarily work from home.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Pricing Advisor I to support our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
  • Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Acts as an expert, providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers and clients.
  • Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelors' degree, or technical/ advanced university degree, or equivalent experience. A master's degree is desired.
  • Typically, 7 to 10 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • A comprehensive understanding of HPE's business and end-to-end processes will be required.
  • Ability to communicate in small and large settings.
  • Experience communicating and negotiating complex pricing methodologies.
  • Ability to shape pricing strategies using data and analytics to drive insights and inform customers of willingness to pay.
  • Ability to provide strategic and financial consultation to key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
  • Ability to communicate, connect, consult, and utilize negotiation skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent understanding and comprehension of accounting goals and financial analysis.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve problems.
