Full Job Description
Turn data into decisions. Optimize a complex NGL business. Influence how we move, market, and maximize value.

We're looking for a sharp, commercially minded analyst who knows midstream. Someone who enjoys digging into operational and market data, spotting opportunities others miss, and turning insights into action.

As our Sr. Analyst, Midstream Optimization & Analytics, you'll sit at the intersection of operations, logistics, commercial, and analytics. You'll help answer the big questions: Where can we improve margins? How do we optimize product movement? What's happening in the market? And how can better data drive better decisions?

If you're energized by solving complex problems, building practical analytical solutions, and creating measurable business value, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Own

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize product flows, reduce risk, and create commercial value across our midstream and NGL business.
  • Analyze operational, commercial, and market data to uncover trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain forecasting models, analytical tools, and reporting solutions that support key business decisions.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Supply, Logistics, Operations, and Accounting teams to tackle complex business challenges.
  • Support NGL pricing analysis, market intelligence, and supply-demand assessments.
  • Develop dashboards, automated reports, and scalable data solutions using Power BI, SQL, VBA, and related technologies.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders and leaders across the business.
  • Drive automation, process improvement, and continuous innovation through data and analytics.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • 5+ years of experience in the midstream oil and gas sector, supporting operations, commercial teams, logistics, NGL marketing, supply optimization, or business analytics.
  • A track record of finding and implementing opportunities that improve profitability, efficiency, or business performance.
  • Strong understanding of midstream operations, NGL markets, commercial processes, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Advanced technical skills in Power BI, SQL, VBA, Power Query, and Excel, including building sophisticated models and reporting solutions from multiple data sources.
  • Experience with RightAngle or another ETRM platform is required.
  • Exposure to Azure, Databricks, Python, or modern analytics environments is considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence decisions and build credibility across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A naturally curious, analytical mindset and a drive to continuously improve how work gets done.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Real business impact. Your analysis will directly influence commercial and operational decisions.
  • Complex challenges. Work on optimization opportunities that span markets, logistics, supply, and operations.
  • Cross-functional exposure. Partner with teams across the organization and build a broad understanding of the business.
  • Room to innovate. Bring new ideas, modern tools, and automation solutions that create measurable value.
  • Front-row seat to the market. Help shape decisions in a dynamic and evolving NGL business.

If you're the person who sees patterns in data, asks better questions, and enjoys turning complexity into opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary: $82,300 - $102,800 Annually (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).

Eligible employees may earn performance-based incentives and have access to comprehensive benefits and retirement plans with matching contributions.
