Team Overview
This role sits at the intersection of data, risk, and user experience, requiring deep collaboration with technology, data partnerships, sales, marketing, operations, legal, and go-to-market teams.This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP, Credit Risk Product Management, the Senior Advisor, Product Management will be responsible to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Income and Employment Verification (VOIE) products in Canada.

They will own the end-to-end product lifecycle-from discovery and compliance-by-design to launch, iteration, and scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the multi-year product vision and success metrics for VOIE, aligned to business outcomes.
  • Build and manage a prioritized roadmap that balances customer value, regulatory constraints, data supply, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead market assessments for new verticals and channels.
  • Drive structured discovery with customers, developers, and partners to identify verification pain points.
  • Own the end-to-end user journey.
  • Establish and validate hypotheses via experiments, Voice of Customer, usability tests, and A/B tests; translate insights into clear product requirements.
  • Partner with technology and operations to source, normalize, and enrich payroll and HCM data; define data quality thresholds and SLAs.
  • Oversee API design, developer tools and overall developer experience.
  • Implement monitoring and analytics to track key metrics such as coverage, match rates, pass rates, fallbacks, and compliance requirements.
  • Define pricing and packaging strategies, including usage-based and bundled offerings.
  • Enable Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success with compelling value propositions, collateral, and pilot programs.
  • Define launch criteria, readiness plans, and rollout strategies across use cases and customer segments.
  • Produce clear product documentation (PRDs, user stories); support and drive a healthy backlog; manage scope and prioritization for predictable delivery.
  • Support cross-functional teams through agile processes; align stakeholders and escalate blockers proactively.
  • Measure performance against KPIs; drive continuous improvement through data-driven iteration.


Required Knowledge And Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of Product Management experience in VOIE (Verification of Income & Employment), credit reporting, financial services, building data, and/or compliance-heavy product.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping products that handle sensitive data with strong privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in experimentation, analytics, and metric design (conversion funnels, cohort analysis, A/B testing).
  • Deep experience operating within agile product methodologies and structured product development life cycles (PDLC).
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian credit ecosystem.
  • Strong technical acumen: APIs, data pipelines, identity resolution, monitoring/observability, and platform reliability.
  • Passion for utilizing data to solve critical business issues.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and work autonomously.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Curious and customer focused.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity.

The expected pay range for this position is $131,000 - $182,000 annually. The pay information provided for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of many factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
