As a Sr. Advisor, Gas Account Management, you will lead growth efforts in GDS's Industrial segment in Utah. You will deliver a great customer experience to Enbridge’s current industrial clients. Your role includes working closely with them as a strategic partner to support their energy needs and business objectives while increasing Enbridge’s revenue and system capacity.

What You Will Do:
  • Actively seek out strategic growth opportunities in the state.

  • Evaluate and drive the development of growth opportunities through a deep understanding of prospective customers and the value natural gas can provide.

  • Build trust-based relationships. Be the voice of the customer: Identify and anticipate needs, influence internal teams to deliver beneficial solutions that meet and exceed expectations. Be a problem solver.

  • Partner with our existing customers to deliver an outstanding customer experience and anticipate their future needs through proactive knowledge and insight into their organization.

  • Monitor and optimize: Track performance against sales targets, customer happiness, revenue growth, and operational efficiency. Use data to inform and build strategy.

  • Engage externally: Represent Enbridge in key industry events, conferences, regulatory discussions, and customer forums to strengthen our position as a market leader.

  • Support internal projects and regulatory initiatives as required.

  • Possess understanding and experience with Tariff, energy trends, competitors, and other participants in the energy industry.

  • Through the eyes of your customer, see the bigger picture and develop comprehensive plans to achieve results. Find opportunities.

  • Work in a target-based environment, achieving sales and market development goals.

  • Exhibit excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with experience presenting relevant information to different audiences as appropriate.

  • Have knowledge of local government and current affairs affecting energy and industry policy.

  • Possess polished interpersonal skills and the ability to “read a room.”

  • Review spreadsheets and have a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.

  • Understand current Utah and Wyoming Tariff/rate structure.

Who You Are:
  • A proactive individual with over 5 years of experience in sales, utilities, or the energy sector.

  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent specialized experience.

  • Demonstrate proven success in a similar role with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals.

  • Have a collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in team settings.

  • Showcase ambitious problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):
  • Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both field & office) encompass but are not limited to:
  • Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Salary Ranges from $96,200 to $120,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Working Conditions:
  • Mainly office-based with approximately 35% to 45% travel within Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho.

  • Overnight travel required on occasion.

  • Must have a current driver's license in good standing.
