Job Description

As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our quality engineering initiatives by applying advanced methodologies and driving continuous improvement. You will leverage your expertise to ensure the highest standards of product quality and process excellence, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex quality challenges and enhance customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality performance by developing and implementing advanced quality control processes, analyzing data-driven insights, and leading root cause analysis efforts to drive corrective actions and preventive measures.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead advanced quality engineering initiatives including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate and lead internal quality process and product audits
  • Engage with external customers in technical discussions, regarding open issues, including RMAs
  • Develop and implement robust quality control processes and methodologies to enhance product and process quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify production quality issues and drive resolution through data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or advanced quality roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and quality management software to analyze data and drive quality improvements
  • Experience with advanced quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, DOE, and corrective action systems

  • Advanced degrees in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical fields
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement certifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to quality challenges
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve quality objectives
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to quality engineering
