Drive operational excellence and innovation by leading complex process improvements across manufacturing sites, delivering measurable gains in efficiency, safety, and cost performance. This role plays a critical part in scaling best practices and enabling high-performing, standardized operations across the organization.
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and standardizing manufacturing processes across plants of varying scale. This role leads cross-functional initiatives, implements best practices, and drives continuous improvement to enhance operational performance, safety, and financial outcomes.
This role reports to the Senior Manager Process & Control Systems Engineering.
What you will do:
• Develop and deliver complex engineering designs, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and cost estimates.
• Lead process optimization initiatives to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
• Drive implementation and adherence to Best Operating Practices (BOP) and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex process deviations with sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (operations, maintenance, quality, supply chain) to solve challenges and implement improvements.
• Ensure accurate and compliant Management of Change (MOC) documentation for process updates.
• Share and scale best practices and new technologies across sites to drive enterprise-wide impact.
What you will bring:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in manufacturing process optimization and standardization.
• Deep technical expertise in process engineering, including design, process controls, and equipment selection.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem-solving initiatives and implement sustainable solutions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.

Pay Range:
$102,100.00-$136,166.67 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
