Location: Franklin, TN

Job Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in office)

In this role, you will lead the preparation and reporting of consolidated financial results and disclosures for Nissan companies across North America, while partnering with affiliates and auditors to ensure compliance with reporting requirements. You will also interact with financial reporting departments of affiliates regarding consolidated reporting issues to assure understanding of reporting requirements.

A Day in the Life:

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates preparation of consolidated annual audited financial statements.
  • Prepares and reviews consolidated balance sheets, profit and loss statements, footnote disclosures, and consolidated cash flow statements.
  • Compiles consolidated government reports prior to submission to appropriate agencies.
  • Develops procedures and improvements in performance of consolidation and footnote disclosure process.
  • Interacts with external auditors in preparation of financial statements.
  • Works with the Treasury department to provide all required financial information and analysis for regular debt issuances.
  • Researches U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards to determine potential impact of unique and material agreements.
  • Works with various accounting departments to ensure new accounting pronouncements are properly applied and appropriately reported.


Who We're Looking for:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP), International Accounting Standards (IAS), and financial reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Desired:
  • MBA or MAcc preferred.
  • CPA preferred or CPA eligible preferred.
