Your Day-to-Day
• Lead period-end and year-end reporting, analysis, and reconciliations, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries to support an accurate and timely close.
• Consolidate multi-entity trial balances and prepare consolidated, multi-currency financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and supporting notes in Microsoft Excel.
• Partner with teams across the business to support recurring departmental and fixed asset reporting requirements, and ensure accurate coding of expenses and journal entries.
• Support financial statement audits and other audits by preparing draft financial statements, schedules, responding to requests, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to implement and enhance financial systems such as IFS.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, creating efficiencies, reducing costs, and helping the business achieve its goals.
What You'll Bring
• CPA designation and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong full-cycle accounting experience, including ownership of period-end close activities.
• Experience preparing consolidated, multi-currency financial statements, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and supporting notes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience building reports with PowerQuery and PowerPivot is a strong asset. Experience with IFS is considered an asset but is not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
Location: Richmond, BC (in office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays working from home)
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 base salary, plus a 10% bonus
